| Portraiture Galleries | Jo works on location, at her client's home or in a chosen setting, timing her photography to make the most of the available light. Chatting with her clients, Jo builds the rapport so important in making the shoot a relaxed and pleasurable experience for everyone involved. She advises on what to wear, usually casual clothes that help her clients to feel as comfortable and natural as possible, although 'dressing up' is allowed! 'Make-overs' can also be incorporated into the shoot if the client wants to feel really special. Young children present their own unique challenges, but by working fast and encouraging them to play, Jo captures moments in time that portray the very essence of the child's character. After the shoot, Jo's clients view a preview album of 15x10cm (6x4") prints, from which they select those for enlargement, framing or presentation in a beautiful album or gallery, designed by Jo and tailor made by Queensberry of New Zealand. 'Life of the Child' albums make a particularly beautiful keep-sake or gift.
